In order to completely inform prospective clients concerning industry standards and my professional particulars, I have developed two informational documents:
The first is a “Working Agreement” developed in part from the Graphic Artist’s Guild, and in part from my own experience. This document is primarily for information. It effectively agrees to the limits and conditions of the client-artist relationship IF the client agrees to proceed to a project. It must be signed and agreed to before any services can be rendered. It is not binding if no work is requested.
The second is a list of general services and fees. The fees are listed in broad ranges and are provided to give the prospective client a general idea of how I work. Because all assignments are unique, it can’t possibly cover all possible assignments. A free quote will be made to serious prospective clients after receiving all parameters involved.
Other artists have found the “Working Agreement” method useful and the document can be used with my permission as is, or can be changed to suit your own needs.
